We were all very sad to hear of the passing of Jim Miller (Canada Jim). He was a Slipshod for many years and extremely popular within the group. He excelled as an MC and some of his stories became legendary.

Our condolences and best wishes go out to his family and friends. Details of his funeral will be advised in due course.

We have been asked to sing "The Maple Leaf Forever" at the service and we will rehearse it starting tomorrow.

The funeral of Kath Whitwam (Whitty's wife) will take place on Friday 31st March at the Methodist Church, 

​Brookside Rd, Freshwater, PO40 9ER at 2pm followed by a burial at Headon Lea (for family only) in Totland Bay. All are welcome to a wake at the Vine pub in Freshwater directly after the church service.

Mourners have been asked to wear only bright colours and NOT black !
